I have got another review today. I think I might as well be named as week end blogger. I wonder how my life would be if weekends were eradicated from the world. *shudders*

I have always had a strong partiality towards tinted lip balms. May be because they are so wearable and yet does good for the lips, May be because, being new to makeup, I am not at all that comfortable in sporting bright opaque shades on my lips.
I have loads of lip balms from Maybelline, Body Shop, Himalaya, Rev Ayur (reviewed) etc and yet I get drawn towards the lip balms stacked near the counter every time I go shopping. I have never tried lipice. May be I should try them soon.
Recently I tried wearing a red lipstick (in my bedroom) on the insistence of my dear friend who wanted to see how I looked like when I sported red. To her happiness and my astonishment, red looked very nice on my lips and against my skin tone. (Show off alert). It kinda made my whole face bright and I personally felt that I looked classy in red lipstick. Irrespective of all that positivs, red being red, looked bold too. The very fact that I was not used to wearing such bright shades was so frustrating. I was like, “why cant I just be like one of those girls who oozed confidence even in a potato sack.” “why can’t I just be like nikki minaj? (Only in the lipstick dept)” . All these “Why’s?” kept me thinking and I finally thought “hey why don’t I try a red colored tinted lip balm” maybe I would feel confident and yet try out red (mild reds but then red is red right??). I immediately dug my wardrobe and found this never opened Revlon Tinted Lip balm in Cherry. When I tried it on, it was…….. it was “Just Perfect”. I was such a pretty red tint that gave me all the positive effects of wearing red and yet was not at all that bold. Cursing myself for not even opening the packet so long, I decided to do a review of this color. This review is dedicated to all the red lip color lovers who are shy to sport the shade for themselves.

[caption id="attachment_195" align="alignright" width="300"] The picture is not doing justice to the tint. Its a little bit darker[/caption]
Since I have spoken relatively in detail earlier, I will just hop on to the pros and cons:
- Just INR. 99/- damn cheap. :D
- Contains SPF.
- Imparts a very beautiful and even red tint.
- Yes it does moisturize the lips.
- Convenient packaging. I hate the tub packaging for hygienic reasons.
- Stays only for two hours and needs to be reapplied. I don’t mind this actually especially with all the other benefits.
- I tried it on when my lips were chapped, though not obvious, I noticed that it tends to settle in the fine chapped lines.
I love my lip balm and will recommend this one to all.
See you next time in yet another blog post.
