Colorbar Nail Lacquer in Fearless Red - Review

Hey Girlies,

Today my sober soul suddenly got a desire to sport a bright red nail polish. Like lipsticks, even in nail polishes Red has always been a no-no color for me. It’s not that I’m anti-red, but I somehow feel that it’s not my color and find it very difficult to pull off. (A rather decent way of saying, I don’t have the confidence to sport red).

But suddenly today my inner self got bit bolder and wanted to try red nail polish. I searched my nail polish box (Urban touch ones) and found two red polishes, one from colorbar and one from street wear which my mum occasionally used.

I tried the one from colorbar called Fearless Red and this post is going to about it.

After a little bit googling, I found that the one I had is from their Quick Finish Nail Lacquer Collection. It is priced at Rs. 195/-.

About the Nail Polish:

The Quick Finish Nail Lacquer, with a simple one stroke application gives your nails a glossy salon perfect look in 60 seconds. It is chip resistant and does not yellow your nails. Use it with a base and top coat for a perfect luster. Available in 10 gleaming shades in a 9ml bottle; just the perfect thing for your nails to look manicured at all times.

There are ten gorgeous shades in this collection and more information about this can be found here.

This is a glossy nail polish and it looks orange under certain lights.

In short, I love this nail paint. I never thought red would look so good and I am hooked to this particular shade.

It dries off quick and due to its “quick drying” nature, when I kept it open while applying the nail polish with the fan switched on, the product turned thick. Since then, I make it a point to close the opening with some business card.

Though it has got the typical strong nail polish smell, it goes off once applied on the nails.

The applicator works fine in spite of being longer and leaner than most of the brands.

The Formula is quite opaque and two coats are sufficient to get the thick glossy color. It stays on with minor chipping at the tip area for 4-5 days easily. And it comes off with a good nail polish remover.

Here are the swatches:

Pretty color isn't it?
I might repurchase this “shade” if available with other brands at cheaper rate. Have you girls seen the shade “The Spy Who Loved Me” from the Skyfall collection of OPI?? It’s simply gorgeous..!!

See you all with another post soon.

With Love,
