I am going to continue to speak of tinted lip glosses even in this post. It’s going to be about the Lakme Lip Love Conditioner in Charmer. Trust me. This one is an impulsive purchase of mine and the shape and the color of the cute pot was love at first sight for me.
I was so in love that I didn't even care about its price being Rs. 225/- for just 3 gram tub. It comes in 4 shades called flirt, siren, hottie and charmer. Aren’t the names cool?
Lakme claims that the lip conditioners are infused with jojoba oil and Shea butter to condition the lips and that it also has SPF 15 to protect from sun damage.
Packing is very attractive with a cute lil transparent tub with red lid. The inside of the tub is designed like a heart which is so cute. The lid is of screw type and fits well making it travel friendly.
Charmer is a pretty coral color that comes quite pigmented on lips compared to other lip balms in the market. The color stayed for 2-3 hours on my lips and needs to be reapplied after that. It gives decent moisturization to the lips. As it is just a lip conditioner, it does not cure or have any effect apart from the temporary moisturization it imparts. My chapped lips were back to their chapped state once this conditioner faded off.
Now let me summarize its pros and cons.
1. Very pretty coral color.
2. Quite pigmented in moderately pigmented lips.
3. Very attractive packing.
4. Travel friendly lid.
5. Provides temporary moisturization to dry lips.
6. Has SPF 16.
1. Tub packing.
2. Does not treat dryness. Just gives temporary relief.
3. Stays only for 2-3 hours after which my dry lips are back.
4. Though it doesn’t linger long, I don’t like the fragrance.
5. I find it pricey.
In short, it’s a very pretty color for everyday use that comes in an extremely cute little tub. But then I don’t feel that it is worth for Rs. 225/-. (I might keep the tub as keep sake).
This is how it looks on my lips.
Hope you girls liked the review.
