Coloressence supreme eyeliner in brown - REVIEW

Hi Ladies,

Do not worry as it is not an yet another nail art (disaster) :P post and its going to be a review of coloressence intense liquid liner/supreme eyeliner in brown.

I purchased this from an e-commerce site along with my nail stamping kit. I always wanted a brown liquid liner as I feel liquid liners give a more intense look than pencil ones.

Priced at Rs.95/- for 9 ml I find it to be pocket friendly.

This happens to be my third liquid liner apart from my beloved instaliner from lakme and of course my first brown liquid liner.

What Coloressence claims:

No list of complete ingredients is mentioned.

Color: Brown.

My Experience:

I have started loving browns in eye makeup. I feel that they make my eyes look understated and pretty especially when lined in the upper lash line. When I saw this product in an e-commerce site I grabbed it.

The eyeliner comes in a black plastic bottle with looong cap. The Applicator is attached to the cap and I find the applicator to be very useful and the tip is both neither too thin nor too thick making it perfect to draw thin and thick lines well. As the brushes are firm it is easier to line the lower lash line as well which I have not been able to do in my instaliner brush. It aids in smooth and precise application of the liner.

The product seems a little runny and I am not able to get the best pigmentation in the first application. I am forced to go multiple coats over the line to get the “perfect” brown color.

The liner stays put for a long time and does not dry or crack or fall off. However, contradicting their water-proof claim, the liner comes off when wiped with a wet cloth.

The liner in my opinion will not suit dusky skinned girls as the shade would Camouflage with the natural skin tone.

If you are able to make this color work for you, this would be a very good product best suited for office goers who find black bit severe and I am personally loving the shade and would recommend this to girls who are in look out for budget brown liquid liners.

I am now eyeing for a better quality one in terms of being waterproof and pigmentation. If you know any please recommend.

In the EOTD, i have lined my upper and lower lash line with this liner and lined my lower waterline using Faces Eye Pencil in Brown.

My rating:

Packing: Very Good
Pigmentation: Average and requires multiple coats to get the color.
Staying power: Very Good
Waterproof: No though it claims to be.
Application: Easy and smooth with no tugging.
Texture: Runny.

Hope you found this review useful.
