Street wear luminous eye shadows in Satin Sand - Review

Hello Friends,

Today I am going to review you my favorite eye shadow duo i.e., the Street wear luminous eye shadows in satin sand.

I bought this eye shadow some time last year. As I am not an expert at it, I wanted to try a safe color which will never look crappy irrespective of my application. I was a trainee during those times (good old times) and street wear is known for its pocket friendly range prompting me to pick this up. No special reasons. :D

The eye shadow duo was priced at Rs. 175/-.

Packing:

The eye shadow comes in a cute little sturdy plastic box. The lid is transparent and is travel friendly. Love it.

Shade & Texture:

The satin sand duo comprises of one copper brown shade and one light peachy pink shade. Both these eye shadows have satin finish.

I love the coppery brown very much. It looks pretty and can be sued for day times as well. It is a color with which you can never be wrong.

The eye shadows are easy to apply and blend.

Applicator:

It comes with a dual sided applicator and for me the sponge for the applicator started coming off and I have hardly used it. In my opinion the applicator is of no use. However it can be used to create gradient manicures. :D

Color payoff:

The color pay off is pretty decent. You don’t get awesome pigmentation but the pigmentation is enough for the color to show. I feel that the pigmentation will be even better if worn above a primer. The color is buildable.

Staying Power:

The copper brown stays for about 4-5 hours on my eyelids. It does crease after some time and as for the light shade, it stays for about 3 hours. Again, I feel that the staying power will be more if we used it after priming the eyes.

Swatch:

Under Artificial Lighting:

Now, summing up its pros and cons.

Pro’s:

1. Very pretty color combo.
2. Cute and travel friendly packing.
3. Stays for a decent time.
4. Blends well.
5. Hardly any fall outs.
6. Decently pigmented.
7. Pocket friendly

Con’s:

1. Applicator is of no use.
2. Creases after some time.

Verdict:

It is very good eye shadow for beginners. I will repurchase the other variants from this range and I do recommend this to all who wants a cheap yet decent eyeshadow duo.

Hope you girls loved the review.

Love,
