Revlon Photo Ready Concealer with SPF 20 - Review

Hello Girls,

Today I am going to share my experience with the Revlon Photo Ready Concealer with SPF 20.

Revlon Photo Ready Concealer with SPF 20

I do not suffer from chronic dark circles. I get them when I don’t get enough sleep and they vanish once I get enough rest. That’s it.

But my desire to hide my occasional dark circles was over whelming. Especially, when I had to attend a meeting or go on a date after a hectic day or sleepless nights. I asked my friends and most of them suggested this product and that’s how I landed on this.

Before going to the review, let me share my expectations from this concealer.

Must cover my dark circles.
Must be non-creasing.
I have dry skin. So it must not emphasize it.
It must be long staying.

Priced at Rs.700/- this product comes in a black bullet form of packing with a transparent cap. One must be careful while carrying the product in handbag because the transparent cap comes off at times, though it looks sturdy and seems to shut well.

Texture, formula and fragrance:

This product is creamy enough to blend well in my dry skin and hard enough not to melt on the Chennai 35-39 degree Celsius climate. It did not crease or make my skin feel oily. This concealer has got very mild and negligible shimmer. It doesn’t look obvious and it kind of serves as highlighter too.

The product has a very mild and pleasant fragrance. You have to sniff the bullet to smell it.

I got the shade 003 named Light Medium. It is perfect for my under eye area and the red marks n spots then n there.

Coverage & Staying power:

This product is very good. It covers my under eye imperfections very well. The best part is, I have tiny visible veins on my under eye area and this covers those as well. It does not crease or settle into fine lines. The fact that it has tiny shimmers is an added bonus. It gives a natural looking brightness.

I tried covering the redness around my mouth, on the sides of my nose and acne marks too. It worked well. I do not cover active acne fearing infection.

It does not feel heavy on the skin. The staying power is also very good. I apply it for office and it stays put till I take it off with a remover.

I have added my before and after pictures. I do not have heavy dark circles or discoloration. This product works well for me. But if you suffer from heavy circles, they you must use a corrector before this.

Summing up the likes and dislikes.

1. Decent Coverage.
2. Does on crease.
3. Long staying.
4. Does not feel heavy on skin.
5. Does not have irritating fragrance.
6. Has mild shimmer which gives a nice sheen.
7. Does not emphasize dryness.
8. Has SPF.

1. The transparent lid is very deceiving. It comes loose at times.
2. If you have heavy dark circles and discolorations this might not work for you without a corrector beneath it.

It has satisfied my expectations. Highly recommended.

Hope you girls find this review useful.
