Hello Friends,

Today I am going to review a product that I have been using for almost 6 months. It is the Pantene Pro V all day smooth miracle water. When I was shopping for my monthly skin and hair care essentials, I saw this bottle in the counter and to be frank the words “miracle water” made me get curious and get it instead of my regular Garnier fructis smoothening serum

My expectations from this product was

Smooth my hair and tame frizz to an extent.
Should not weigh my hair down.
Travel friendly.

Non-sticky and transforms into clear liquid upon contact with hands, releasing the water content within the formula to provide an ultra-light finish that helps hair maintain the perfect moisture level even when you are up and about.

It comes in a no-nonsense plastic pump dispenser styled packing with a transparent cap. The color of the packing is very neat and the cap fits well. I have long, thick, wavy and dry hair. I carry my hair serum where ever I go so that I can rescue myself from any hair disasters. I have carried this bottle quite a number of times and this is travel friendly.

The pump dispenser dispenses the right amount of product, without making the nozzle messy.

Product texture, fragrance and consistency:

The product comes out as a cream-gel like consistency which spreads as a watery liquid. The product has very mild pleasant shampoo like fragrance. It is not over powering and I like it. The product spreads easily and evenly on wet/semi-dry hair but it’s a little difficult to work with on completely dry hair.

Product performance:

As I said earlier, I have dry, thick hair which requires constant attention. I am trying to grow my hair to the maximum possible length retaining its health under my mother’s insistence. So apart from the trims I don’t get any haircuts.

I have tried this product on wet/semi-dry/dry hair and it works well. It helps in detangling my hair, smoothening the frizz to a surprisingly good extent and does not weigh my hair down. I did not expect this product to keep my hair frizz free for the whole day. It is not possible with a hair like mine and a climate like Chennai’s. J But it helps in giving my hair a decently groomed look. It controls frizz well and keeps hair in that state for about 3 hours. After that, my hair slowly starts getting frizzy but does not look "that" crazy as how it will look when I don’t have any product on.

I never use this product on the roots. I use it only on the length and it did not make my hair excessively greasy or oily.

Summing up the likes and dislikes before moving on to the verdict.

1. Moisturizes dry hair.
2. Detangles hair very well.
3. Smoothens hair and tames frizz decently.
4. Does not have any over powering fragrance.
5. Travel friendly.
6. Does not make my hair greasy prompting for frequent shampooing.

1. Difficult to work on completely dry hair.
2. Does not completely eliminate frizz.

Verdict: I like this product. It is a refreshing replacement to my regular hair serums. I will repurchase this till I find a magical product that gives me completely frizz free hair.

Recommended if you want a decently priced hair serum that does a good job in detangling and controlling frizz without weighing hair down.

Hope you girls found my review useful.

Keep Smiling. :)
