Today I am going to review an orange corrector. Orange corrector is used to neutralize the under eye circles so that perfect coverage can be achieved by the concealer when it is applied on top of the corrector.
I get dark circles when I have my exams, stress myself or fall sick. They go away once my life returns back to normalcy. But when I had to attend a function during those days I get frustrated trying to match my skin color to my under eye area with just a concealer. However great my concealer is, the coverage never satisfied me. It was then I wanted to get an orange corrector.
Orange corrector neutralizes the dark circles and when we apply concealer on top of the neutralized area, the coverage is perfect, you can easily match your skin color and viola no dark circles!!! If you need more information on what correctors are and which corrector you need to go for, check out Shweta’s post on the same here.
After a little research I went to the kryolan store and the SA suggested me to try this brush on concealer.

Price: Rs. 400/-
Comes in various shades and I got the orange one - No. 06.
It comes in an opaque, grey marker (thin barrel) form with a brush-dispenser.

You need to twist the lower end of the barrel to release the product in the dispenser/brush. Travel friendly.
It comes packed in a grey box which I threw. The box has all the information like the full ingredients list etc printed on it.
Brush-on Concealer is a cream make-up to conceal shadows under the eyes, as well as slight discolorations of the skin. This light, but effectively covering concealer corrects and cares the area of skin involved. Brush-on Concealer is offered in a practical, handy applicator with integrated brush.

Brush on the product in the area you wish to conceal and blend it in. Once blended, apply concealer like how you would normally do.
This is one of the best corrector I have ever come across. It not only neutralizes the darkness but also creates a great base for the concealer to stick on to. The product does not crease, melt, and settle into fine lines even in the intense Chennai climate. The wear time is very impressive.
It is easy to apply and blends wells. It sets quickly and lasts long. You would require only a teeny tiny bit of product as it is highly pigmented. I would suggest you to try it on a couple of times to get used to the amount which you require. I purchased it and on the day of the event while applying makeup; I used it for the first time. I accidentally applied more that it is actually required and had to use a remover to remove and then reapply. Though it is a brush on product, due to the pigmentation, it is always better to dab it in your hand and apply a thin layer – blend and reapply if required.

As this is a long wear product, I would suggest dry skinned ladies to use an eye cream before applying it as it might dry out our delicate under eye area. I have used concealers from Inglot, Maybelline and Diana of London along with it and it works perfect with them all.
KRYOLAN BRUSH ON CONCEALER in 06
Price: Rs. 400/-
Maniac’s Rating: 4/5.
One of the best orange corrector available here in India. I don’t think I will be using it frequently because my eyes are pretty normal now (reason behind the lack of before & after pictures). That said, once this finishes off, I will definitely repurchase.
