After going gaga over neutral and pink lipsticks it is now the turn of lip liners. I was on the lookout for a decent lip liner that can be worn beneath my neutral lipsticks.
When I went to Inglot, the SA swatched all the shades from this range and told that this one is known for the texture as it is so creamy that it can be worn as a lip color. This particular shade caught my attention because it was gorgeously muted and will go with lots of lipsticks I have.

It comes in a standard pencil form packed inside a cute black carton box. I prefer this non-retractable form because when the tip gets blunt, it gets difficult to line or shape my lips. I don’t mind sharpening. Even though the texture is creamy, it does not make a mess while sharpening.
The pencil and the plastic cap are color coded with the shade of the lip liner making it easy to spot this one in my dressing table.
The texture is simply superb. It is one of the finest lip liners I have ever tried. It is creamy, pigmented and definitely a friend for dry lips. My lips tend to get dry and however I moisturize, most of the lip liners end up drying them. But with this one, I did not face such problem. When applied on moisturized lips, it retains the healthy look and does not drink up the moisture or make lips look dry.
The Color is a gorgeous peachy pink shade. I find it perfect for everyday as it brightens the face well. It will go with lots of MLBB lipsticks and darker shades. I wear it almost every day along with my office wear lipsticks. I also wear it alone with a lip balm.
This lipliner does a great job with preventing the bleeding of lipsticks.
It also helps with the lipsticks that stain miserably. I applied it under my colorbar ones and they did not stain my lips as they used to.
The staying power is equally good. When worn alone, it stayed on my lips for approx 4 hours before gradually fading away. It does not settle into fine lines when fading away. Though it survives mild snacks, frequent munching or drinking may result in the color getting faded in the inner corners.
As it is well pigmented and will not wash me off, I try to salvage the lipsticks that wash me out with this one.
This is how it looks on my lips.
Maniac’s Rating: 5/5
This lip liner has become my favorite. It is perfect for my dry lips and will definitely pick up couple of shades from this range.
Hope you girls found my review useful.
