I can’t believe I am finally reviewing the Bourjois Paris flower perfection primer finally. This review is sitting in my computer for such a long time.
I wanted to try out primers. I have dry combination skin and most drugstore primers are the mattifier types and did not work for me. I did not want to invest much in an un-ventured territory. Hence I got this little beauty.
All I wanted or expected from this product is to keep my makeup fresh and minimize the pores. The product comes in a cute little pastel pink pot. The packing is very travel friendly. But you need to sanitize your hands or use a q-tip for taking the product out.
The texture of the product is of buttery thick non-oily cream. When applied, it sets into a smooth and powdery finish. It did not dry out my skin.
I always moisturize my skin and let the moisturizer sink in before applying any product on. On perfectly prepped skin, this product glides like a dream and sets to a (true to its claim) nice airbrushed finish. It felt very light on the skin as if I do not have any product on.
My foundation application was easy and surprisingly good on top of this. Foundation glided on with a new found ease and unlike my assumption, the foundation blended quite well.
However, I did not notice any change in the staying power of makeup. I do not have any problem in this department as normally makeup tends to stay put for a decent period of time in my face.
Coming to the pore minimizing part, this product works very well. It smoothened out the pores to my satisfaction and makes my makeup look fresher throughout the wear time.
It has a nice floral fragrance that does not linger long. As this product spreads quite well on the skin, a little goes a long way.
When I need a quick fix, I apply this primer and top it with a compact and I am good to go.

Indian Beauty Maniac’s Rating:
This primer suits my combination skin’s needs. It does not clog the pores or cause breakouts and most importantly, does not dry out my skin. If you are combination skinned as well and looking out for a pocket friendly drug store primer, this is highly recommended.
