Oriflame Studio Artist Lipstick in Pink Nude - Review & Swatch

Hello Ladies,

I know I am just putting up lipstick reviews these days but what to do. Blame it on my sudden unexplained love for lipsticks. But love is good. So I decided to embrace it and bore you all.

Though I have slowly moved out of the n*de pinks and browns, they still hold a special place in my heart. They make me look so pretty and well groomed.

I got this pretty shade called Pink N*de from Oriflame Studio Artist Range.

Packing: I love Oriflame’s packing. This one comes in a glossy black bullet. It is light weight and functional. The packing comes encased in a black and white studio artist carton box.

Price: INR. 399/- for 4g.

About this range: Creamy shine without shimmer! A satin-smooth texture in warm, muted shades for perfectly luscious lips with a flawless finish. The creamy, comfortable formulation moisturises your lips, leaving them feeling as wonderful as they look. The specially designed bullet shape means expert precision when applying.

Oriflame Studio Artist Lipstick in Pink Nude Ingredients List

Shade: Another reason to love Oriflame. Their shade names are fuss-free and Pink N8de is a luscious pretty beige color with pink tones to it. It is a great MLBB color for my NC 42 skin tone and I love the fact that it is not brown based. Pink based n*des look more youthful IMO.

As it a sheer one, the color of the lips tend to influence the shade a lot. Am not sure if pigmented lips would love this. And again, it is a matter of choice. These days I prefer sheer-medium coverage lipsticks than completely opaque matte ones.

Finish: Semi-glossy finish.  Sets to a nice healthy looking shine.

Texture: Smooth and creamy. Bullet does not feel fragile as of now but I am not sure if it would withstand 37+ Celsius temperature.

Pigmentation: Shiny and semi-sheer. Requires multiple swipes to get opaque.

Staying Power: Stays for the standard wear time of approx. 4 hours.
Though it did not survive full meals (not that I expected it to), it survives mild snacks and drinks.

Fragrance: It has a weird unnatural fragrance to it. It does not linger once we apply it on lips but when I sniffed the bullet (I know. I am weird too) it was not very appealing.

Others: It does not dry out my lips. It does not leave any tint or stain due to the shade so this may leave you with bare lips if you forget about reapplication. It does not emphasize the dryness but wearing a lip balm is advised.

One major thing is, it is difficult to find this brand in the open market. We need to find a consultant to buy this.

Indian Beauty Maniac’s Rating
5/5 for the gorgeous pretty color and 4/5 overall.

Must have for n*de lipstick lovers. The texture, finish and everything justifies the price and I will repurchase this shade once it finishes.
Highly Recommended!

*Sincere Apologies for not putting up a lip swatch. I will try to update them as soon as I can*
