Hiphop Skin Care Instant Make-up Remover Pads - Review & Demo

Hello friends,

Who hates the process of removing makeup after a long day at work? Fetching the remover, then the cotton rounds and after all these strenuous activities removing a mascara that won’t come off without putting a fight. Ufff..

Hiphop Skin Care Instant Makeup Remover Pads

When I heard about the hip hop makeup remover wipes which is specially designed to remove face and eye makeup, I was super excited to give it a try. This brand is not new to me as I have already tried and quite liked their nail polish remover wipes.

About, Ingredients and Directions:

Review:

The makeup wipes comes packed in a white tub. The packing is similar to the nail polish remover wipes. It has an inner lid to retain the quality of the wipes. I did not get the white plastic spatula. But I believe this one comes with a spatula.

The wipes are highly saturated and it gets difficult to pick up a single wipe without the plastic spatula.

They feel textured and remind me of my beloved Johnsons and Johnsons baby wipes. It did not dry out my skin.

It effectively removes all makeup including the water proof and long lasting ones. I have combination skin and almost all makeup removers end up drying it. But this remover did not dry up or cause any sort of irritation.

The only problem which renders this product ineffective for me is it irritates and stings my eyes big time. I know they have cautioned about not letting thr product get in the eyes. But it stings my eyes even when i try to remove the mascara from the base of my lashes with my eyes shut tight. May be I got super sensitive eyes.

I close my eyes and use these wipes on my lashes to loosen up the mascara (I dare not rub it as it gets into the eyes somehow) then, I follow it up with the Maybelline Makeup remover.

It has a nice fresh citrusy fragrance.

I wanted to do a video for this product review but my voice sounds immature, childish and embarrassing. For all those who appreciated my voice earlier, I get your joke.

I have added a small video clip where I have used this remover to remove dried up water-proof mascara, eyeliner pencil and a chambor lip liner.

Indian Beauty Maniac’s Rating
3.5/5

I like the concept of instant makeup removers. Only if it had not stung my eyes, I might have given it a 5/5 and picked up two more packs for my June Trip.

I will not repurchase.

Have you tried these makeup remover wipes? If so, how did you like them?
