Oriflame Optimals White Oxygen Boost Day Cream with SPF 15 Review

Hello friends,

Today I will be reviewing the Day cream from Oriflame Optimals White Oxygen Boost range of products. I have already reviewed the cleanser, toner and night cream from this range.

I can say that this is my least favorite product in the optimals white range. Read on to know why.
It comes in a glass jar packing similar to the night cream.

Ingredients list:

The texture of this cream is surprisingly thick. I found it to be heavier than the night cream (I have extremely dry-combination skin).

Every day after cleansing and toning, I dampen my face a little before applying the day cream in order to aid easy and effective absorption. This cream slips when I tried applying it on dampened skin. And it imparts an unattractive sun-screen like whitish cast while trying to apply it on damp skin (should i blame it on the SPF?)

Since then, I take a small pea sized amount and work it on my completely dry skin. In this way, it does not impart that whitish caste or slide away.

My skin takes time in absorbing it completely.

It has the same fragrance and I get the same warm feeling while working this product into my skin.

On regular usage this cream does lighten the dark spots and even out skin tone to a great extent. It did not cause breakouts or irritate my skin.

3/5.

I would not recommend this product as a day cream (especially in summers) as I find it quite heavy. But do try the other products from this range if you are looking for a decent skin care regime to reduce unevenness and dark spots as it is quite effective.
