Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous - Review, Swatch and LOTD

Hello friends,

My most reached out lip-product these days is Rendezvous from the Revlon Balm-stains. I got it long back but at that point of time, I was not totally convinced or to say blown over by it as I got the similar texture and feel with my MUA power pout. As my MUA one has turned into a goop this summer, I threw it out and started using the Revlon one in my kitty.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous Bullet

Rendezvous is a beautiful orange shade. It looks very bright on extremely fair skin tones and on my medium skin tone it is a wearable orange. It has minute shimmers to it that imparts a gorgeous glossy sheen. The shimmers are not obvious.

It gets opaque in two swipes and stays put for about 3 hours on me. Due to the color and the pigmentation on my lips, the stain looks extremely natural and my lips look fresh, plumped. But on someone with lighter pigmentation, the stain will look much more obvious. The stain stays for another 2 hours and does not survive a meal.

It feels moisturizing on application but once the product wears off, my lips feel dry.

The texture is extremely light and the color kind-of fuses without looking artificial. It does not sit on my lips like how some glosses do.

It transfers mildly. It has nice minty fragrance which I love.

What I Like:
  1. Gorgeous wearable orange color.
  2. Healthy looking tint.
  3. Moisturizing on application.
  4. Imparts even looking color.
  5. Feels extremely light on lips.
  6. Comfortable color coded packing.
  7. Decent Staying power.
  8. Did not melt like the MUA ones.

What I hate:
  1. Lips feel dry once the product wears off.
  2. Pricey. I remember buying it for a lesser price :/

Indian Beauty Maniac’s Rating
3.5/5

I love how pretty and wearable this shade is. Recommended for those who are not used to wearing bright orange but still yearn to try the shade.
